Reliability, accessibility, and safer sync
A large under-the-hood release: steadier reminders and scheduling, much stronger screen-reader support, and device pairing you can verify.
This one is mostly invisible, and that is the point. A round of careful work went into the parts you rely on without thinking about them.
Reliability. Reminders are more dependable. Snoozing a loop no longer clears a completion you had already logged that day. Loops due on the last day of the month keep their date instead of quietly drifting earlier after a short month. Sleeping items wake on the day you chose, in your own timezone. A backdated “I forgot to tap this” no longer disturbs the live schedule.
Accessibility. Screen-reader support now reaches the deeper screens, not just the lists. Detail screens open with VoiceOver and TalkBack, the create and edit forms speak their validation and their live previews, the number steppers announce their values, and search results read cleanly instead of spelling out emoji. A blind user can configure a cadence, build a per-occurrence variation, and manage the app end to end.
Safer sync. Linking a new device now shows a short confirmation code on both screens. If they match, you know the two devices are talking to each other and nothing slipped in between; if they do not, you stop. Local data, the three modes, the widget, reminders, and JSON backup all stay free, and sync stays optional and account-less.
Still local-first. Still no login. If something reads wrong with a screen reader, or a schedule does something you did not expect, that feedback is welcome and shapes what gets fixed next.
